Driving test car hire in Sydney

Arrange your test-day vehicle with an instructor and confirm the details before your assessment.

Choose the correct test-day service

Driving test car hire is separate from a driving lesson or preparation session. Select the car-hire service, your pickup suburb and test centre in the search below. Only matching instructors are shown. Both instructor profiles list automatic Toyota Corolla hatchbacks.

Check the centre, price and duration

Coverage and pricing depend on the selected instructor and centre. The booking form shows the service price and reserved duration before you confirm. Check these details rather than assuming the hourly lesson price applies. A listed preparation centre does not necessarily offer car hire with the same instructor.

Read Kim’s profile or Anju’s profile and use the exact match in the booking search. Email roadvibes21@gmail.com if you cannot find a suitable combination.

Confirm practical arrangements

Before test day, confirm the pickup point, meeting time, vehicle suitability and any warm-up arrangements with your instructor. Ask what is included in your chosen booking and agree payment arrangements. This website does not collect an online payment.

Book your driving test separately with Service NSW. A car-hire reservation does not book a test appointment, guarantee eligibility or guarantee a pass.

Reserve and manage your booking

Allow at least 14 hours’ notice when booking. Keep your confirmation and private management link. Online changes close 18 hours before the appointment; after that, contact your instructor or the office. Read the booking and cancellation policy before confirming.
